Boosting Your Reaction Time
In pickleball, swift reaction times can be a game-changer. Here's a simple drill to get you started:
- Partner Shadowing: Stand on the court with a partner facing you. Have your partner hold a ball in each hand. As soon as you see your partner drop one ball, sprint to that side of the court to catch it before it hits the ground.
- Wall Ball Bounce: Stand 10 feet away from a wall. Throw a ball at the wall and try to catch it as soon as it rebounds. This will not only improve your reaction time but also your hand-eye coordination.
Incorporate these drills into your routine, and you'll be reacting quicker in no time!
