Enhance your game with a confident and prepared stance.
The Importance of a Strong Ready Position
Having a solid ready position sets the foundation for every shot and movement on the pickleball court. Here’s how to master it:
- Foot Placement: Stand with feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. This provides balance and agility.
- Paddle Position: Hold your paddle up, around waist height, and in front of your body. This allows for quick reaction time to any shot.
- Weight Distribution: Keep your weight on the balls of your feet. This stance helps you move swiftly in any direction.
- Eyes on the Ball: Maintain your focus on the ball at all times. Anticipation starts with keen observation.
Practice this stance during warm-ups and between points to build muscle memory and improve your overall readiness on the court.
Stay ready, stay sharp!
