Enhance Your Game with Reset Shot Execution
Learn how to master the reset shot for better control.
Hey pickleball enthusiasts!
Today we're focusing on executing the perfect reset shot. This shot helps in regaining control during intense rallies. A well-executed reset shot can turn defense into offense.
When attempting a reset shot, use your soft hands and aim for the non-volley zone. Hold the paddle loosely but with control, allowing for a gentle touch. Your main goal is to take pace off the ball, forcing your opponents to abandon their offensive positions near the net.
Here's a drill: with a partner, stand close to the baseline and exchange soft shots aiming for your opponent's non-volley zone. Concentrate on accuracy and maintaining a soft touch throughout the rally.
Practice regularly, and soon you'll convert challenging positions into opportunities for a successful counterattack.
Stay focused and adjust your technique with each shot to find what works best for you.
Happy playing,
Your pickler friend, Frank Sanchez
