Boost Your Paddle Control with Wrist Drills

Hi Picklers,

Today, we're focusing on wrist control. Strong wrists are critical for precise shots, control, and reducing strain on your arm. Here’s a simple drill to strengthen your wrist:

  1. Warm-Up: Spend 5 minutes doing wrist circles and stretches to get your joints ready.
  2. Paddle Rotations: Hold your paddle out in front of you, and rotate it clockwise and counterclockwise, 10 times each. Focus on controlled movements.
  3. Side-to-Side Swings: Extend your arm and swing the paddle side to side, keeping your wrist firm. Do this for 2 minutes.
  4. Wrist Flicks: Hold the paddle straight out and flick your wrist up and down. Perform this for 2 minutes, maintaining a steady pace.

Repeat these drills daily to build strength and control in your wrist.

Play smart, stay sharp!

Your pickler friend,
